Catalonia air tour at Teruel Airport 2025

On June 14, 2025, 10 aircraft participating in the 70th Tour of Catalonia, which counts toward the Tour of Spain, landed. Twenty people enjoyed the historic centre of Teruel for the afternoon. The following day, they took off for Sabadell Airport. The Aeroclub located at the airport organized the competition.

In the afternoon, a meeting was held where the organizers presented a plaque to Teruel Airport in recognition of its collaboration in organizing the 70th Tour of Catalonia.

On June 15, early in the morning, a briefing was held at the airport terminal, with instructions from the organizers to reveal the images of the locations that must be identified for the leg's scoring, since the entire flight is conducted under visual flight conditions.

From Teruel Airport, they were welcomed by General Manager Alejandro Ibrahim, who stated, "It is an honour to host the 70th Catalonia Air Tour, which reaffirms our commitment to general and sports aviation and fills us with pride as a meeting point for an aeronautical tradition that unites history, a passion for flying, and territory."
