Operating license

The verification of Teruel Airport for public uses was issued by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), on 5th February, 2013. The permission to air operations was given by the DGAC and the Government of Aragon on 28 February 2013. It is recalled that the airport is not authorized for passenger traffic.

Teruel Airport has been already opened for international traffic and it has been enabled a frontier post on February 2014.

Parking

The aircraft parking apron measures 810 meters by 165 meters. This apron has capacity for 8 E/D-type stands (two of which allow parking for an F-type aircraft), or alternatively 16 stands for C-type aircraft, plus 1 C-type stand or 2 alternative stands for B-type aircraft.

In addition, there is an area located approximately halfway along the apron designated for general aviation, with 12 parking stands.

Overall, the apron provides a total of 39 parking stands for the different types of aircraft mentioned.

Before air operations it is necessary contact with the airport operations centre saying: aircraft type, registration number, aircrew, scheduled arrival, parking... Please, send to operations an email to facilitate the arrival and use of the airport.
