Operating license

The verification of Teruel Airport for public uses was issued by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), on 5th February, 2013. The permission to air operations was given by the DGAC and the Government of Aragon on 28 February 2013. It is recalled that the airport is not authorized for passenger traffic.

Teruel Airport has been already opened for international traffic and it has been enabled a frontier post on February 2014.

Parking

Teruel Airport has a parking area of 375 meters x 165 meters. This apron has capacity for 3 positions type E/D (one of them allows the parking of an aircraft type F) or 6 alternative positions for aircraft type C and 1 position type C or 2 alternative positions for aircraft type B. Also, there is a area at the end of the apron for general aviation with 12 parking.

Furthermore, the airport has a parking platform for helicopters, which is currently used by 112 medical service helicopter and forestry helicopter.

Before air operations it is necessary contact with the airport operations centre saying: aircraft type, registration number, aircrew, scheduled arrival, parking... Please, send to operations an email to facilitate the arrival and use of the airport.
