Seminar on the use of drones at UNED
On April 25, 2023, the General Director and Manager of the Teruel Airport Consortium, Alejandro Ibrahim, gave a seminar at the UNED at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers in the University area of Madrid on engineering aspects of the use drone commercial.
The presentation is part of a series of informative actions carried out by the UNED, in order to publicize the situation of drones in the field of transport and logistics, as well as their possible future applications in other fields. During two days, various presentations and round tables have been presented to exchange knowledge and experiences on the impact and evolution that drones are having in commercial applications.
In addition, a vision was given on the present and future challenges of the use of drones, from a regulatory and engineering perspective.
One of the main objectives of these seminars was to publicize the situation of drones in business areas such as the tourism or logistics sectors. A focus was given on its use from an advertising point of view, and also on the possibility of transporting materials through drones, as there is still no regulatory regulation for this.
