 During the month of June 2018, there was an increase of 761.8% in the number of air operations at the Teruel International Airport compared to the same month of the previous year.

It continues, since the start-up of air traffic in February 2013, with a strong growth in the number of operations, registering 761.8% in June 2018 compared to the previous year. Undoubtedly, the development of the flight school that continues to form more commercial pilots and the development of maintenance, parking and recycling of aircraft have consolidated as the biggest parking and recycling center for aircraft in Europe.

In June, 655 operations were recorded, which significantly increases the supplies of kerosene and AVGAS fuel and the new contract of the concession for 7 years for the fuel supply service is currently underway and have submitted by BP Oil Spain and Repsol.

The airport also offers solutions for flight tests, pilot training of large aircraft, helicopter tests, rocket engine tests, aerial work, emergency medicalized service, RPAS with innovation projects in the H2020 Program, among others.

Its aeronautical industrial character is demonstrated in its activities and it belongs since 2014 to the Aragonese Aerospace cluster, being next week in Farnborough in the biggest meeting of aerospace sector.

The General Director of the airport, Alejandro Ibrahim, said that: "we continue to offer our clients the best proposals of the aviation industry, which is a reflection of the strong growth that has been occurring since it was put into operation in 2013"

Accumulated data for the first semester 2018

The operations accumulated during the first semester of 2018 reached 3,337, which represents 55.7% more than the same semester of the previous year.

In this first semester of 2018, 81% of the total operations of 2017 have already been reached. Therefore, this year 2018 is expected to surpass the data of 6,000 operations per year.
