Spain is increasingly looking to the skies. We are Europe's fourth-largest aerospace power in terms of sales and employment, representing an industry that is growing at a double-digit rate, generating billions of euros in revenue, and driven largely by innovation. The combined defense, security, aeronautics, and space sectors generated over €16 billion in revenue in 2024 and supported more than 260,000 direct, indirect, and induced jobs. However, this growth brings a challenge: finding enough professionals to sustain it. Demand for specific skill sets is already outstripping training capacity, while technological advancements are creating new requirements related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems.
