PLD Space is a Spanish innovative start-up company founded in 2011 to provide low cost and high reliability access to space.

Designing from sketch, PLD Space intends to be the reference for space access of small payload markets. The business plan is focused on national and international small payloads markets. Their vision is to provide commercial and scientific access to space to the following fields:

• Space technologies.
• Picosatellites and Nanosatellites.
• Microgravity scientific investigation.
• Defense technologies.

They are ready and committed. Developing a new family of small rocket launchers for suborbital and orbital markets, MIURA 1 and MIURA 5.

Within the development of the suborbital vehicle that the company is pursuing, it is positioned in the Teruel Airport a bench test liquid-fueled rocket engines. It is developed for the testing and qualifying suborbital vehicle engines. It is a metal bench in which the rocket motor is integrated to perform statically the restarts of the rocket safely.
