The Teruel Airport Consortium has put out to tender the public land concession for aerospace activities. Among the requirements, in addition to the economic proposal, is the Report describing the aeronautical activity to be carried out on the surface and the jobs that will be created in the first five years from the concession. On the other hand, the technical proposal is also requested in which the investment to be made during the activity is described, the impact on operational safety and the environmental and waste management plan. The minimum annual fee is 425,253.50 euros (VAT excluded). The deadline for submitting offers is 30 business days from the publication of the tender notice.
The Minister of Territorial Structure, Mobility and Housing, José Luis Soro, explained that there is a demand for more space for the development of activities, in this case aerospace. In this sense, the tender for land with an area of 141,473 square meters is established.
The concession will be for a period of 25 years, extendable for a period of 10 more years.
For his part, the general director of Teruel Airport, Alejandro Ibrahim, stressed that it is very important for Teruel Airport to continue developing aerospace activities in Teruel because they mean developing R+D+I and expanding specialized areas that help to position the airport as a reference at European level.
